Melissa Titus

Melissa Titus is a Board Certified, Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida with over 13 years of experience in providing care to patients in varied settings. After working years as a hospital and emergency room nurse, she saw first-hand the vast need for good mental health care. Melissa understands that mental health encompasses everything we encounter in our past and daily lives such as our jobs, relationships, medical issues, and even living in a pandemic. She takes these into account to ensure the treatment plan is centered around each patient’s needs.
Melissa has expertise in working with all ages across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) with a variety of disorders including Anxiety, Depression, ADHD,
Behavioral issues, Obsessive-Compulsive, Oppositional Defiance, Mood, Trauma, PTSD, dementia and many more. She evaluates each encounter and utilizes the most appropriate and effective therapeutic technique warranted.
Melissa is passionate about providing quality, empathetic, and comprehensive mental health care to her patients. She believes in staying up to date with the latest treatment options for her patients and provides the education needed for her patients to understand the complexities of their mental health. Melissa would like to partner with you to help meet all your mental health needs.
Melissa’s outside interests include spending time with her husband, children, dogs, and extended family. She has a love of cooking and is an avid follower of the Food Network channel and especially competitive cooking shows. She enjoys trail hikes and tackling do-it-yourself projects around her home in her spare time.
